Let me tell you a story

Of the little ball of yarn

Sitting in the corner, all alone

Wondering about the sparkle

In the glow on the ground

Having never seen

The light before

It wonders, but stays

Not curious enough

To venture forth

Until one day

An adventure awaits

For the little ball of yarn

Is plucked from the corner

Out into the sparkle

Of the glow

To make beautiful memories

In the gifts, it makes

To all that heard

The little ball of yarn

Now has a different story

One of Christmas cheer

And the smile on peoples faces

Let me tell you a story

Of the little ball of yarn

No longer in the corner

Wondering no more

Of the sparkle, in the glow on the ground
