Time passes, in the blink of an eye
How fleeting life is
Don’t let a day go by
Where the words
Of affection isn’t said
Not even a minute
Express the 3 words
Show them, give hugs
Always care
Let the light burst forth
Christmas was yesterday
But today should continue on
The journey of sharing
Those words of affection
That aren’t said enough
One day isn’t enough
It should be showed all year
Expressed all the time
Don’t miss an opportunity
To tell someone
To show them
Because in an instance
A blink of an eye
They could be gone
Cause ‘you think you have time’
